Festo proportional valves set pressure or flow continuously in response to an electrical setpoint. The focus is on MPPE proportional pressure regulators, which convert an inlet pressure into a controlled outlet pressure.
The range comprises more than 130 items with port sizes from 1/8 to 1/2 and various pressure ranges as well as current and voltage signals. This allows pneumatic processes to be controlled precisely and reproducibly.
Proportional pressure regulators are used wherever the pressure of an application has to be linked continuously to an electrical setpoint, for example in force and tension control, in test rigs or under changing load conditions. The MPPE series provides graduated pressure ranges and standardised signal inputs for this purpose.
