Corner safety valve, for saturated steam and compressed air, G 2", DN 25, 3.0 bar, gunmetal

Large boilers and vessels need a correspondingly large discharge cross section so that the pressure really falls in a fault case. This corner safety valve with DN 25 and connection G 2" releases 402 m³/h of compressed air as soon as 3.0 bar is reached. The gunmetal body and the spring steel spring stay dimensionally stable across the range -40 to +150 °C. The overall height is 155 mm.

Applications

Steam boilers to TRD group 1 with a permissible pressure of 3.0 bar. Heat exchangers and steam manifolds with connection G 2". Vessels operated within the temperature range -40 to +150 °C. Plants where the component identification has to be presented for acceptance.

Standards and conformity

The valve is type tested and carries the component identification TÜV-SV...-312.25.D/G.0,28 CE0036 3 bar. It is supplied with a fixed setting only, so the set pressure of 3.0 bar cannot be altered. A setting certificate to 3.1 is available on request. The version is approved for saturated steam and for steam boilers to TRD group 1.
