KTR Rotex is a torsionally flexible jaw coupling in which two hubs are positively connected by an elastic spider. With more than 2,900 items the programme offers a very wide choice of sizes, bores and spider hardnesses.
The spiders are available in different Shore hardnesses and materials, identified by colour coding. Hubs are supplied unbored or finish-bored with keyway to DIN 6885/1, some in stainless steel 1.4305.

Jaw geometry transmits torque positively between the two hubs.
Rotex jaw couplings connect motor and driven machine in a torsionally flexible way, damp shocks and compensate shaft misalignment. Selecting the spider hardness lets the damping and stiffness behaviour be matched to the application.
