Drive Technology
KTR Evolastic are flexible couplings and their elastomer elements for vibration-damping torque transmission. The range comprises elastomer parts in sizes 48 to 560 in various versions such as E, EP and with hardness markings MN, SN or WN.
The elastic elements damp torsional vibrations and compensate for shaft misalignment. With more than 96 items, a wide gradation of frame sizes and elastomer variants is available.
Evolastic couplings are used in drive trains with non-uniform torque, for example with combustion engines, pumps and compressors, to damp torsional vibrations. Selection is based on the frame size and the required elastomer hardness.
