KTR Drive Technology
KTR Ruflex comprises overload and slip-protection components that protect drive trains against torque peaks. The range is offered in several sizes, here group 2, with different bores and fits.
The roughly 600 items cover complete units with friction surfaces as well as various bore diameters and hub versions. Bores are supplied finished with a fit to DIN standard.
Ruflex is a friction-based slip clutch that slips once a set torque is exceeded, protecting drive and machine from damage caused by blockages or torque peaks. The release torque is set via the spring preload.
Slip-protection Ruflex units are used in conveying, mixing and drive technology where blockages or fluctuating loads can occur and the drive train must be protected against overload.
