KTR Clampex are shrink discs and locking assemblies for friction-locked shaft-hub connections without a key. The designation gives bore and outer diameter, for example 100-18x47, along with data on tightening torque and transmissible torque.
The connection is created by frictional clamping and is backlash-free and detachable. With more than 413 items, a fine gradation of diameter and torque ranges is available.
Clampex locking assemblies connect shafts to hubs, gears, pulleys or couplings when a backlash-free and keyless transmission is required. Selection depends on the shaft diameter and the torque to be transmitted.
