KTR-SI are torque-limiting safety couplings that protect the drive train in case of overload by disengaging. The range comprises complete units in size Gr.0 in the DK-FT-T1 design with various bores to H7, some factory-set to a release torque.
When the set torque is reached, the coupling interrupts the power flow and thus protects downstream components. With more than 714 items, a fine gradation of bores and release torques is available.
KTR-SI safety couplings are fitted in drives where jamming or overloads can occur, for example in conveying, packaging and machine tools, to protect shafts and gearboxes. Selection is based on the bore diameter and the required release torque.
