A 50 m Type B sensing cable for large areas that detects water and other conductive liquids anywhere along its length. It is thinner than Type A and dries faster, which makes it easy to reuse. Large raised-floor areas, long pipe runs or whole basements are hard to cover without gaps using spot sensors. The WLD-Sensing cable B monitors a continuous 50 m run and reports just a few drops of conductive liquid to the connected WLD device.
Benefits
- Wide coverage with one cable: 50 m of sensing length in a single zone, and any point along it triggers the alarm.
- Easy to route: No minimum bend radius. The cable keeps working even when knotted or twisted.
- No false alarms from pressure: Stepping on it or pressing it within reasonable limits does not trigger an alarm, so it can run under door thresholds.
- Reusable: Clean, dry and reinstall after a leak. Type B has a smaller diameter than Type A and dries faster.
- Expandable: Same 2-pin locking connector as Type A, so both types can share one WLD zone. Non-sensing extension cables take a zone up to 185 m.
