Proportional pressure reducing valves from Bosch Rexroth keep the pressure in the downstream circuit section at an electrically set value, independent of the inlet pressure. The target pressure is commanded steplessly through a solenoid system, allowing forces or clamping pressures in a machine to be controlled finely.
The range covers more than 461 items, including series such as DRG and 3DRE. The type codes denote nominal size, pressure stage and actuation type and span applications from poppet to pilot-operated valves.
Proportional pressure reducing valves are used wherever a pressure in a sub-circuit must be guided steplessly and reproducibly, for example in clamping, pressing and feed tasks or in machine tools and presses. The electrical setpoint allows programmed pressure profiles and fast setpoint changes during operation.
