Proportional pressure relief valves from Bosch Rexroth limit system pressure to an electrically set value. Unlike the purely mechanical variant, the cracking pressure can be changed steplessly and remotely, for instance to adapt to changing load cases.
The group covers more than 115 items, mainly of the DBGT and DBGC series. The type code denotes pressure stage and the version of the electrical actuation.
Proportional pressure relief valves are used when the maximum system pressure has to be adjusted during operation, for example for load-dependent pressure profiles, energy-saving standby pressures or remote adjustment through the machine control. The stepless actuation replaces several fixed pressure-stage valves.
