Adjustable fittings

Adjustable 45° connectors, DKO

Adjustable 45° connectors with a sealing cone plus O-ring turn a tube line through 45 degrees, half the angle of an elbow fitting. Sealing takes place on the cone by way of an O-ring rather than metal on metal, a design known as DKO. This category holds 64 items.

The tube port stays adjustable against the connector body, being locked once aimed. On offer are 19 tube sizes from 6 L to 42 L plus 6 S to 38 S, each carrying its nut thread from M12x1,5 up to M52x2, in zinc plated steel or stainless steel 1.4571.

How to choose Adjustable 45° connectors, DKO

What matters when choosing: properties, comparison and typical applications.

Technical data

⚡45 degree body - a middle step between a straight coupling as well as a 90 degree elbow; the line leaves on a shallower bend.
⚡Sealing cone plus O-ring - sealing occurs on the elastic O-ring seated in the cone, never on a metal edge, so the joint can be opened repeatedly.
⚡19 tube sizes - 6 L up to 42 L in the light series, along the heavy series from 6 S to 38 S.
⚡Nut threads M12x1,5 to M52x2 - every tube size maps onto one fixed thread, such as 12 L on M18x1,5, or 30 S on M42x2.
⚡Adjustable direction - the 45 degree outlet is rotated until the tube run lines up, then held there.
⚡Materials plus supply form - zinc plated steel or stainless steel 1.4571, either complete or lacking nut plus ring.

Applications

The 45 degree shape is picked where a line has to change direction yet a right angle would cost too much space, or where the tube runs into a sloping route. Typical spots are hydraulic power units, valve blocks, cylinders having closely spaced ports. The soft sealing DKO joint suits circuits opened repeatedly for service.
