5/3-way solenoid valve, exhaust centre, G 1/8, 490 l/min, 230 V AC, standard connector - YPC SF2403

The SF2403 drives a double-acting cylinder in both directions, and in the centre position both cylinder chambers vent to exhaust. The supply port is then blocked, the piston carries no force and can be moved by hand. With the 230 V coil the valve can be switched straight from mains voltage, with no separate power supply needed. At 5 bar up to 490 l/min pass through the G 1/8 ports.

Advantages

• In the centre position both working ports are vented, so the actuator is depressurised and free to move.
• 18 mm body width and a 15 mm coil, so several valves can sit close together.
• Oil-free operation, no lubrication required. If the air is oiled, use ISO VG32.
• Coil without polarity, insulation class F, removable, drawing 4.5 VA at 230 V AC.
• Switching time of 35 ms max. at 5 bar and up to 3 Hz switching frequency for short machine cycles.

Applications

• Setting up and adjusting fixtures where the piston is moved by hand.
• Control of downstream pilot-operated check valves that need a vented pilot line.
• Single valves on equipment without a low-voltage supply, switched at mains voltage via relays or timers.

Accessories and spare parts

The replacement solenoid coil, type L for 230 V AC, is available separately. The valve uses two of them. Several valves can be combined on an SF2000 series manifold with 2 to 14 stations, with supply and exhaust ports in size 1/4.
