PROFIBUS DP fieldbus valve terminal, 10 x 5/2-way single solenoid, M7 top ports on the valves, 24 V DC - E.MC

Where 10 double-acting cylinders or grippers are switched from one point, this terminal replaces 10 individual valves and their supply tubing. A PROFIBUS DP bus module comes fitted, so the controller addresses every solenoid over the network. Each station delivers around 330 l/min through its M7 ports.

Advantages

• PROFIBUS DP bus module with M12, B-coded, module current draw below 50 mA.
• Response time of 15 ms or less at 5 bar and up to 5 switching cycles per second per valve.
• Only 0.8 W per solenoid at 24 V DC ±10 %, so 10 valves draw 8 W in total.
• Diagnostics report communication faults, short circuit, wire break, reverse polarity and under- or overvoltage, and the output state on bus failure can be parameterised.
• M7 ports with a nominal cross-section of 7 mm² (Cv 0.39), around 330 l/min flow per station.

• Systems on a PROFIBUS DP fieldbus where the valves sit close to the actuators and only the bus cable runs to the cabinet.
• Medium-bore cylinders that move briskly with 330 l/min per station.
• Assembly cells with cylinders, grippers and rotary actuators served jointly by 10 valve positions.
• Cabinet or machine mounting with easily accessible tube connections on top of each valve.

Conversion and extension

The valves can be swapped for individually available valves with one or two solenoids or for blanking plates. Stations are counted from the electrical connection.
