Valve terminal 2 Series, 12x 5/2-way single solenoid, G 1/8 side-ported, IO-Link - E.MC

E.MC ESV fieldbus valve terminal (2 Series) for IO-Link: 12 valves, one bus connection, one M12 power supply. The controller addresses every solenoid directly and receives diagnostic messages back.

Advantages

• Straight to the IO-Link master: bus connection M12, A-coded, port class B, power via M12, no output card needed in the controller.
• Reconfigurable: any station can later take a valve with one or two coils, including 5/3-way or 2x 3/2-way functions.
• Long service life: at least 40 million cycles, aluminium body and spool, NBR seals.
• Diagnostics over the bus: short circuit, wire break, reverse polarity, under- and overvoltage are reported, and the output state on bus failure is configurable.
• Swap valves without touching the tubing: the G 1/8 outlets are in the sub-base, the valves are changed from above.

• Assembly and packaging machines with mid-size cylinders that need more flow per valve
• Decentralised valve terminals right at the machine, connected to a free port of an IO-Link master
• Installations with frequent valve changes, where the tubing should stay connected during a swap
• Multi-axis sequences with up to 12 cylinders supplied centrally from one valve terminal
