Aventics CG1 guide units extend pneumatic cylinders with an external linear guide that absorbs lateral and bending loads, relieving the piston rod. This category covers more than 140 items of the GU1, GH1 and GH2 series in different bore and stroke combinations.
The units combine guide rods or profile rails with bearings and a driver plate to achieve anti-rotation, precisely guided motion. They allow external loads to be carried without a separate, independently designed guide.
