5/3-way solenoid valve, pressure centre, G 3/8, 1600 l/min, 12 V DC - YPC SF5503

Both cylinder chambers pressurised as long as no coil is switched. That is the centre position the YPC SF5503 provides. It is used when an actuator should stay braced without a signal. Flow is 1600 l/min at G 3/8. At 12 V DC and 2.1 W the valve fits battery-powered systems and vehicle bodies.

Advantages

• Spring-centred position with pressure on both working lines, switching time 35 ms max at 5 bar.
• Up to 3 Hz switching frequency with a voltage tolerance of -10 to +10 %.
• 32 mm valve width keeps valve banks narrow as well.
• Oil-free operation: no lubrication required, if lubricated use ISO VG32 oil.

Applications

• Actuators that are secured against displacement by pressure on both sides when no signal is present.
• 12 V DC on-board systems in vehicles, trailers and mobile equipment.
• Through-rod actuators that are held braced in the centre.

Accessories and spare parts

The replacement solenoid coil for 12 V DC is available separately and can be changed without opening the pneumatic circuit. For banks of several valves YPC offers the MF5500 manifold with 2 to 12 stations and a common supply through G 3/8.
