3/2-way solenoid valve, normally open (NO), G 1/8, 590 l/min, 115 V AC, standard connector - YPC SF2701

The SF2701 works the other way round from a normally closed valve. In its home position it is open and supplies the consumer with compressed air. When the solenoid is energised, it blocks the pressure port and vents the working line. At 5 bar up to 590 l/min pass through the G 1/8 ports. The 115 V AC coil fits control circuits that run from a 115 V control transformer.

Advantages

• De-energised, the passage is open, so the consumer stays supplied with pressure on power loss.
• Switching time of 25 ms max. at 5 bar and up to 5 Hz switching frequency for short machine cycles.
• 18 mm body width and a 15 mm coil, so several valves can sit close together.
• Oil-free operation, no lubrication required. If the air is oiled, use ISO VG32.
• Coil without polarity, insulation class F, removable, drawing 4.5 VA at 115 V AC.

Applications

• Spring-applied brakes and holding cylinders that are vented only briefly to release.
• Sealing and purge air that should keep flowing when power fails.
• Machines with a 115 V control circuit, where the valve connects to the existing voltage without a converter.

Accessories and spare parts

The replacement solenoid coil, type L for 115 V AC, is available separately and can be changed without opening the pneumatic circuit. A matching manifold is available for 3-way valves of the SF2000 series.
