Additional Vacuum Components
Vacuum
The additional SMC vacuum components group together supplementary parts for vacuum systems that do not belong to the standard groups of suction cups, generators or filters. These include water separators of the AMJ series for vacuum systems.
The water separators remove liquid from the drawn-in medium and thus prevent water from reaching downstream vacuum components. The program supplements the other vacuum groups with special parts.
Water separators of the AMJ series are used in vacuum lines in which moisture or liquid can be drawn in, for example when handling damp workpieces. They protect vacuum generators and switching devices from ingressing liquid.
