The SMC Vacuum Suction Cups of the ZP series are used for gripping and holding workpieces in vacuum-based handling systems. The program comprises more than 456 items with different suction surfaces and material designs, each with a retaining ring.
The types are distinguished by design, for example flat and curved versions (series U, C and B). This allows suction cups to be matched to the geometry and surface of the respective workpiece.
Vacuum suction cups of the ZP series are used in pick-and-place applications, on handling axes and in assembly systems to pick up components with a smooth or slightly curved surface. The choice of suction geometry and material depends on the weight, shape and condition of the workpiece.
