Festo condensate drains and water separators remove the condensate that forms in compressed air from the pipe network. Water separators take out liquid content at the inlet of the air preparation, while condensate drains discharge the collected water from bowls and filters.
The range covers more than 10 items, including automatic drains of the PWEA-AC series and water separators of the MS6/MS9/MS12-LWS line with connections from 1/4 up to G. Selection depends on connection size, bowl volume and the drainage method.
Condensate drains and water separators are used wherever dry compressed air is required: ahead of valves and cylinders, in service units and at collecting bowls. They protect downstream components from corrosion and malfunction caused by residual moisture.
