Valves and Valve Systems
Fieldbus components connect pneumatic valve systems to the higher-level controller through digital networks and replace the individual wiring of each solenoid coil. They transmit switching commands and can return input and output signals from the machine.
This range covers more than 40 items, mainly from the Aventics DDL series as well as CMS connections with optional I/O functionality. Common bus systems such as PROFIBUS, CANopen and Ethernet are supported, in part also in ATEX versions.
Fieldbus connections are used in automated machines where many valves and sensors are controlled over a shared data line. They reduce wiring effort, enable decentralised valve manifolds and, through the I/O functionality, return status information to the controller.
