Valves and Valve Systems
Single valves control the compressed-air flow to pneumatic actuators and are tubed individually or mounted on sub-bases. They are available as 3/2, 5/2 and 5/3 way valves in monostable and bistable versions and are usually actuated electrically through 24 V solenoid coils.
This range covers more than 1,900 items structured by Aventics product series, including CL03-EV, LS04, the 840, 740 and 490 series as well as compact types such as CD04, CD07 and CD12. The series cover different nominal sizes, connection patterns and control concepts.

3/2 way valve switches one port between pressure and exhaust, for example for single-acting cylinders.
5/2 way valve controls double-acting cylinders with two stable positions.
5/3 way valve offers a centre closed or exhaust position for holding or releasing.
Monostable and bistable define whether the valve resets on signal loss or keeps its position.
