Plenty of power meters, UPS systems and air conditioning units only speak Modbus/RTU. The Perseus Energy 240 set with its 12 V adapter gets that data onto the network without extra parts, handling up to 100 meters with 1000 variables readable over Modbus/TCP, SNMP, MQTT or XML.
