5/2-way solenoid valve, double solenoid, bistable, G 1/8, 590 l/min, 24 V AC, standard connector - YPC SF2200

The SF2200 is a bistable 5/2-way valve with two solenoids. A short pulse on either solenoid sets the switching position, and the valve then holds it without continuous current, even if the control voltage fails. At 5 bar up to 590 l/min pass through the G 1/8 ports. The 24 V AC coil is meant for control circuits fed with alternating voltage from a safety transformer.

Advantages

• The last switching position is kept on power loss, so the cylinder does not run back on its own.
• Oil-free operation, no lubrication required. If the air is oiled, use ISO VG32.
• Coil without polarity, insulation class F, removable, drawing 4.5 VA at 24 V AC.
• Switching time of 25 ms max. at 5 bar and up to 5 Hz switching frequency for short machine cycles.

Applications

• Cycled operation of diverters and sorting flaps that alternate between two end positions.
• Cylinders that must stay in their last position after a power failure, for example on lifting doors or grippers holding a part.
• Older control systems with 24 V AC, where a valve of the same design is being replaced.

Accessories and spare parts

The replacement solenoid coil, type L for 24 V AC, is available separately. The valve uses two of them. Several valves can be combined on an SF2000 series manifold with 2 to 14 stations, with supply and exhaust ports in size 1/4.
