Valve terminal 2 Series, 10x 5/2-way single solenoid, G 1/8 side-ported, PROFINET - E.MC

E.MC ESV fieldbus valve terminal (2 Series) for PROFINET: 10 valves, one bus connection, one M12 power supply. The controller addresses every solenoid directly and receives diagnostic messages back.

Advantages

• Straight onto PROFINET: bus connection 2x M12 socket, 4-pin, D-coded, power via M12, no output card needed in the controller.
• Diagnostics over the bus: short circuit, wire break, reverse polarity, under- and overvoltage are reported, and the output state on bus failure is configurable.
• Swap valves without touching the tubing: the G 1/8 outlets are in the sub-base, the valves are changed from above.
• High flow per station: effective area 16.2 mm² (Cv 0.9) on a pitch of only 16 mm.
• Reconfigurable: any station can later take a valve with one or two coils, including 5/3-way or 2x 3/2-way functions.

• Assembly and packaging machines with mid-size cylinders that need more flow per valve
• Decentralised valve terminals right at the machine, integrated into an existing PROFINET network
• Installations with frequent valve changes, where the tubing should stay connected during a swap
• Multi-axis sequences with up to 10 cylinders supplied centrally from one valve terminal
