3/2-way solenoid valve, normally closed (NC), G 1/8, 590 l/min, 24 V AC, standard connector - YPC SF2601

The SF2601 is a 3/2-way valve that is closed in its home position. Without a signal the pressure port is blocked and the working port vents to exhaust. Only when the solenoid is energised does air flow to the consumer. At 5 bar up to 590 l/min pass through the G 1/8 ports. The 24 V AC coil is meant for control circuits fed with alternating voltage from a safety transformer.

Advantages

• De-energised, the pressure port is blocked, so a power failure vents the consumer.
• Oil-free operation, no lubrication required. If the air is oiled, use ISO VG32.
• Coil without polarity, insulation class F, removable, drawing 4.5 VA at 24 V AC.
• Switching time of 25 ms max. at 5 bar and up to 5 Hz switching frequency for short machine cycles.

Applications

• Pilot control of larger air-operated valves or process valves.
• Single-acting spring-return cylinders that extend only while the signal is active.
• Older control systems with 24 V AC, where a valve of the same design is being replaced.

Accessories and spare parts

The replacement solenoid coil, type L for 24 V AC, is available separately and can be changed without opening the pneumatic circuit. A matching manifold is available for 3-way valves of the SF2000 series.
