About Stopper

Stoppers push into an existing fitting and close an unused port pressure tight. They save rebuilding the line when a take-off point is taken out of service for the time being, or when a section is blanked off for testing. The group covers tube outside diameters from 4 to 28 mm.

What matters when choosing

• Tube O.D.: 4 to 28 mm. The stopper carries the stem diameter of the tube that would otherwise sit in that port.
• Max. working pressure: 16 bar on the small sizes, with 10 bar quoted from 10 mm stem diameter upwards.
• Min. working pressure: -0.95 bar, so a port in a vacuum section stays closed as well.
• Colour: the small stoppers are red, from 15 mm they are black. That makes them easier to spot in an installed run.
• Material: acetal copolymer (POM) throughout, from the speedfit range and matching its push-in fittings.
