Description
If the bus system is decided later, or several machines run different controllers, this terminal is the starting point. It carries 8 5/2-way valves with 16 M7 outlets and accepts a bus module of your choice.
Advantages
- Free choice of bus: E.MC offers modules for PROFINET, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, CC-Link, CANopen, PROFIBUS DP and IO-Link.
- Swap valves without touching the tubing: the M7 outlets are in the sub-base, the valves are changed from above.
- Narrow build: 11.5 mm pitch per valve station, response time 15 ms or less at 5 bar.
- Reconfigurable: any station can later take a valve with one or two coils, including 5/3-way or 2x 3/2-way functions.
Applications
- Pick-and-place and handling units with small-bore cylinders, short-stroke cylinders and grippers on 4 to 6 mm tubing
- Series-built machines shipped with different fieldbus systems depending on the customer
- Installations with frequent valve changes, where the tubing should stay connected during a swap
