S2V series valve terminal, 16 stations 5/2-way, PROFINET, G 1/8 side ports on sub-base - E.MC

The S2V valve terminal with PROFINET interface groups 16 5/2-way valves on a common sub-base with 16 mm pitch. Supply and exhaust run centrally through G 1/4, working air leaves through 32 G 1/8 ports on the side of the sub-base.

Advantages

• PROFINET right on the valve block: bus via 2x M12 socket, 4-pin, D-coded, power via M12, 5-pin, A-coded. The bus module draws less than 120 mA.
• Diagnostics for short circuit, wire break, reverse polarity and under- or overvoltage, with a configurable safe output state on bus failure.
• G 1/8 outlets on the sub-base: hoses stay connected when a valve is replaced.
• Reconfigurable: each station takes a single or double solenoid 5/2-way valve, a 5/3-way valve, a 2x 3/2-way valve or a blanking plate.
• Low heat load in the cabinet at 0.8 W per solenoid, with an LED for every switching state.

• Assembly lines and special machines where 16 actuators are fed from one central valve block.
• Plants with a PROFINET network where the terminal sits on the machine as a separate node.
• Installation in shallow housings or profile frames where hoses are routed out to the side.
