About Cross push-on connectors

Cross push-on connectors bring four hose ends together in one part and split the medium into three outlets. The hoses are pushed on and secured with hose clamps, no screwed fitting is required. Across the group, hose inside diameters from 4 to 13 mm are documented at a working pressure up to 10 bar.

What matters when choosing

• For hose I.D.: 4 to 13 mm. The connector has to match the clear bore of the hose, otherwise the clamp will not hold the joint tight.
• Material: brass CW617N or acetal copolymer (POM). Brass takes mechanical load and heat better, POM is light, tough and abrasion resistant.
• Max. medium temperature: 90 °C is documented for the brass version, while the POM version is rated over a range of -40 to 80 °C. In warm circuits that difference decides.
• Max. working pressure: 10 bar throughout the group. Higher pressures belong on a screwed fitting rather than a hose clamp joint.
• Country of origin: items come from German and Chinese production, worth noting when a range is stocked end to end.
