HEL pressure build-up valves from the Festo Classic program vent a system slowly and gradually when switching on. This builds up the working pressure in a controlled way and prevents the sudden extension of actuators.
Only when a certain pressure is reached does the valve open fully to nominal flow. The valves are available in MINI, MIDI and MAXI sizes with ports from 1/8 to 1. The range covers 13 items.
The HEL pressure build-up valve vents the system in a throttled manner when switching on and only opens fully once a threshold pressure is reached. This prevents uncontrolled actuator movements at start-up.
