The Festo LFX activated carbon filters remove oil vapours and odours from compressed air and form the final preparation stage for particularly clean air. They belong to the Festo Classic line and are available in MINI, MIDI and MAXI sizes.
The range covers more than ten items with connection sizes from 1/8 to 1. They are installed downstream of fine and ultra-fine filters where a very low residual oil concentration is required.
LFX activated carbon filters are used wherever nearly oil-free and odour-neutral compressed air is needed, for example in packaging, measurement and control technology. They are always operated downstream of suitable pre-filters to preserve the service life of the activated carbon.
