Aventics bellows cylinders generate a pneumatic stroke via a flexible air bellows instead of a piston. The range includes bellows cylinders of the BCP series and rolling-lobe cylinders of the BRB series.
Bellows cylinders work without sliding seals and are tolerant of lateral deflection. More than 111 items cover various sizes and single- and double-acting versions.
Bellows cylinders are used for clamping, lifting and vibration isolation, for example as air springs or as a drive with high force over a short stroke. As there are no sliding seals, they are low-wear and easy to maintain.
