Adjustable T connector, tube 38 S, stainless steel 1.4571, heavy series

Once installed, the adjustable T connector branches a second line off a tube stud and takes the tube through a cutting ring. It is produced from stainless steel 1.4571. The data give tube stud 38 S and tube connection 38 S (M52x2). In addition the data give heavy series.

Benefits

• The branch can point in any direction before it is locked, so tube 38 S (M52x2) can be laid without rework.
• Tube stud 38 S and tube connection 38 S (M52x2) in the same size.
• Working pressure up to 315 bar in the heavy series.
• Temperature range -60 to +400 °C for the body in stainless steel 1.4571.
• When tightened the cutting ring bites into the tube, so no extra seal is needed.

Applications

When extending an existing line of the heavy series the tube routing is kept because the branch can be adjusted.

Standards and conformity

Before assembly the stud thread and cone, the inside of the union nut and the cutting ring are oiled. Thin-walled or soft tubes need a reinforcing sleeve.
