Pressure separator for S2V series valve terminals, separate zones for different inlet pressures - E.MC

Not every actuator on a valve terminal needs the same pressure. The pressure separator is fitted into an existing S2V terminal with 16 mm pitch and interrupts the common supply channel, so both sections can be fed separately with compressed air between 1.5 and 8 bar.

Advantages

• Two pressure levels on one terminal, for example reduced pressure for delicate grippers and full line pressure for clamping cylinders.
• No second terminal and no extra wiring, the multipole or bus control stays as it is.
• Retrofits to existing S2V terminals, screws and seal are included.
• Same operating conditions as the terminal: clean air after 40 µm filtration, no lubrication required.

Applications

• Terminals where low-pressure vacuum generators or blow-off nozzles run next to cylinders at 6 bar.
• Valve groups with their own pressure regulator, for example cylinders that must press with reduced force against delicate parts.
• Retrofitting an existing S2V terminal when a machine gains functions with their own pressure level.
