Valve terminal for bus module, 8 x 5/2-way single solenoid, M5 side ports on the base, 24 V DC - E.MC

On an 11.5 mm pitch this manifold carries 8 valve positions, all fitted with spring-return 5/2-way valves. The terminal is prepared for a bus module, which is not included in the delivery. The M5 ports are located on the side of the base plate, and supply and common exhaust are connected through G 1/8.

Advantages

• Service life of at least 40 million cycles, valves with LED status indicator, each replaceable from above.
• M5 ports with a nominal cross-section of 5 mm² (Cv 0.28), around 230 l/min flow per station.
• Base with 8 stations without bus module, the matching module for PROFINET, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, CC-Link, PROFIBUS DP or IO-Link is fitted separately.
• Response time of 15 ms or less at 5 bar and up to 5 switching cycles per second per valve.
• Only 0.8 W per solenoid at 24 V DC ±10 %, so 8 valves draw 6.4 W in total.

Applications

• Building a valve manifold whose bus module is already on hand or ordered to match the controller.
• Assembly cells with cylinders, grippers and rotary actuators served jointly by 8 valve positions.
• Small cylinders and grippers on thin tubing, for which 230 l/min per station is sufficient.
• Installation under low covers, since the tubes leave sideways from the base plate rather than upwards.

Conversion and extension

The valves can be swapped for individually available valves with one or two solenoids or for blanking plates. Stations are counted from the electrical connection.
