In large plants several dozen metres of cable often lie between cabinet and valve. The 4WRZE16E1-180 therefore works from a 4...20 mA command, where voltage drop along the cable does not matter. It meters 180 l/min nominal at size 16, holds 350 bar operating pressure and routes its pilot oil entirely internally.

Applications

The valve is used in widely spread installations such as press lines, lock gate drives and paper machines. Because the current signal stays stable under electrical interference, extra shielding on the command line is largely unnecessary. The concealed manual override allows the axis to be moved if the controller fails.
