When back pressure stands in the return line, the pilot drain has to leave the valve separately. This size 16 version is built that way, taking pilot oil internally and draining it externally. It reverses up to 300 l/min at pressures up to 280 bar.

Technical data

Application

The design is used on systems with a return filter, a cooler or long tank lines. An external drain keeps pilot pressure independent of the return line, which keeps switching times steady. In every other respect the spool reverses cylinders and motors as usual.
