As soon as the main circuit can drop to zero pressure in service, an internally fed pilot stage loses its pilot pressure. This build therefore draws pilot oil from an external source and discharges it externally, keeping the pilot stage independent of what the main circuit does. The spool carries symbol J and the valve passes up to 300 l/min at a maximum of 280 bar.

Plants running accumulator charging or idle circulation, where main pressure disappears at times, are where this build belongs. Pilot pressure then comes from a small dedicated pump or from an accumulator. Both pilot lines are routed separately on the subplate.
