2/2-way solenoid valve, pilot-operated, brass, G 1, normally closed, EPDM seal, 24 V DC - E.MC

This 2/2-way solenoid valve shuts off G 1 lines and reopens them through a 25 mm orifice. As a pilot-operated valve it needs at least 0.5 bar differential and handles up to 16 bar. With no current the passage stays shut, so the valve closes the line by itself if the supply fails.

Advantages

• Serviceable: diaphragm and coil can be replaced individually while the body stays in the line.
• Large orifice, small coil: 25 mm orifice at just 10 W, thanks to diaphragm pilot operation.
• Flow: Cv 12.5 according to the E.MC datasheet, Kv 171 l/min.
• EPDM seal: The right choice for air and hot water.
• Brass body and IP65: class F coil insulation, watertight connector to DIN 40050.

Applications

• Opening and closing G 1 water and cooling water circuits.
• Systems where the line must close by itself if power fails.
• Hot water and rinsing circuits where EPDM is the intended seal material.
• Note: in service the valve needs at least 0.5 bar differential and flow at the outlet. If the pressure equalises, it no longer switches reliably.

Accessories and spare parts

• Replacement coil type Y for 24 V DC, exchangeable without opening the line.
• Replacement diaphragms for G 1 in NBR, FKM and EPDM, sold individually, also for changing the seal material.

The valve belongs to the E.MC ELP series and is supplied with coil and connector.
