5/3-way solenoid valve, closed centre, G 1/8, 490 l/min, 12 V DC, standard connector - YPC SF2303

The SF2303 drives a double-acting cylinder in both directions and can stop it in between. With both solenoids de-energised, springs centre the spool, all working ports are blocked and the air stays trapped in both cylinder chambers. At 12 V DC it runs on vehicle electrical systems and battery-powered equipment. At 5 bar up to 490 l/min pass through the G 1/8 ports.

Advantages

• In the centre position all ports are blocked, so the cylinder stops where it is.
• Only 2.5 W power consumption per coil, coil without polarity and insulation class F.
• Switching time of 35 ms max. at 5 bar and up to 3 Hz switching frequency for short machine cycles.
• 18 mm body width and a 15 mm coil, so several valves can sit close together.

Applications

• Stopping a cylinder at an intermediate position, for example when positioning lifting units.
• Halting motion on an emergency stop without the cylinder running through to an end position.
• Vehicle bodies and mobile equipment with a 12 V supply.

Accessories and spare parts

The replacement solenoid coil, type L for 12 V DC, is available separately. The valve uses two of them. Several valves can be combined on an SF2000 series manifold with 2 to 14 stations, with supply and exhaust ports in size 1/4.
