Valve terminal 1 Series, 6x 5/2-way single solenoid, M7 side-ported, PROFIBUS DP - E.MC

With its integrated PROFIBUS DP module, this valve terminal works decentrally, close to the cylinders. 6 single-solenoid 5/2-way valves on a 11.5 mm pitch switch at 1.5 to 8 bar.

Advantages

• Straight onto PROFIBUS DP: bus connection M12, B-coded, power via M12, no output card needed in the controller.
• Diagnostics over the bus: short circuit, wire break, reverse polarity, under- and overvoltage are reported, and the output state on bus failure is configurable.
• Swap valves without touching the tubing: the M7 outlets are in the sub-base, the valves are changed from above.
• Narrow build: 11.5 mm pitch per valve station, response time 15 ms or less at 5 bar.
• Reconfigurable: any station can later take a valve with one or two coils, including 5/3-way or 2x 3/2-way functions.

Applications

• Installations with frequent valve changes, where the tubing should stay connected during a swap
• Pick-and-place and handling units with small-bore cylinders, short-stroke cylinders and grippers on 4 to 6 mm tubing
• Decentralised valve terminals right at the machine, integrated into an existing PROFIBUS DP network
