5/3-way solenoid valve, centre position exhausted, G 1/4", 24 V DC, 590 l/min, aluminium

Whenever a double-acting cylinder has to stop between two positions and become pressureless there, the control system needs a third valve position. This 5/3-way solenoid valve exhausts both working ports in its centre position, which lets the actuator be set up or pushed by hand. In operation it provides 590 l/min at an operating pressure of 2 to 10 bar. The three main ports are threaded G 1/4" and the two exhaust ports G 1/8". Switching is done by two pilot-operated coils rated 24 V DC with a power consumption of 2.1 W.

Standards and conformity

The solenoid coil carries protection class IP 65 according to the IP code of IEC 60529. The permissible control voltage tolerance is plus/minus 10 percent.
