5/3-way solenoid valve, centre position exhausted, G 1/4", 115 V AC, 590 l/min, aluminium

The 5/3-way solenoid valve controls double-acting pneumatic cylinders and vents both cylinder chambers in its centre position. As a result the actuator carries no pressure at standstill and can be moved by hand during set-up. Up to 590 l/min flow through the three G 1/4" working ports, while the exhaust air leaves the valve through two G 1/8" ports. The working range of 2 to 10 bar covers common line pressures, and at 5 bar the switching time stays below 35 ms. Body and spool are made of aluminium, the pilot section of glass-fibre reinforced polyamide.

Standards and conformity

The solenoid coil is rated IP 65 and therefore protected against dust and water jets. The permissible control voltage tolerance is ± 10 %.
