5/2-way solenoid valve, double solenoid, G 3/8, 2000 l/min, 115 V AC - YPC SF5200

The YPC SF5200 is a double solenoid 5/2-way valve. A short pulse on one coil is enough, after which the spool stays put until the opposite coil is energised, even if the supply fails completely. With 2000 l/min at G 3/8 it handles cylinders with a high air demand. The 115 V AC coil draws 4.1 VA and is meant for 110 to 120 V control circuits, as common in machines built for the North American market.

Advantages

• Impulse operation: the switched position is held without power, switching time 25 ms max at 5 bar.
• Up to 5 Hz switching frequency with a voltage tolerance of -10 to +10 %.
• 32 mm valve width keeps valve banks narrow as well.
• Oil-free operation: no lubrication required, if lubricated use ISO VG32 oil.

Applications

• Actuators that must keep their position on power loss, such as flaps and gates.
• Machines with 110 to 120 V control voltage, also as a spare for export equipment.
• Cycled operation with short switching pulses instead of a permanently energised coil.

Accessories and spare parts

The replacement solenoid coil for 115 V AC is available separately and can be changed without opening the pneumatic circuit. For banks of several valves YPC offers the MF5500 manifold with 2 to 12 stations and a common supply through G 3/8.
