This socket head cap screw to DIN 912 joins components wherever a high preload has to be carried by a small head diameter. The M 5 thread with a length of 120 mm spans thick component stacks without an additional spacer bolt. The head measures a maximum of 8.5 mm in diameter at 5.0 mm in height, so it disappears completely into a counterbore.
