Screw fitting series made of stainless steel for all applications where compliance with strict tightness, pressure and temperature requirements is essential. The parts are manufactured without rubber seals, in other words they are ideal for very high temperatures or for use with corrosive liquids, e.g. in cases when FPM is no longer suitable.

About Union elbows

Elbow connectors turn a line through 90 degrees and save room where the hose itself can no longer be bent. They cover tube O.D. 4 to 12 mm, or hose I.D. 2 to 10 mm on the barbed versions. The 28 items range from plastic fittings for compressed air to stainless steel unions for aggressive media.

What matters when choosing

• Tube O.D. 4 to 12 mm is the key dimension of the push-in fittings and the axis every configurator in this group is built on. On the barbed hose fittings the hose I.D. of 2 to 10 mm applies instead.
• Material: nickel-plated brass, PA, polypropylene (PP), stainless steel 1.4404 or perfluoroalkoxy (PFA). Brass and PA cover ordinary compressed air work, stainless steel and PFA belong where the medium attacks.
• Max. working pressure of 16 to 25 bar depending on version, max. operating pressure up to 18 bar. The figure varies widely inside the group, so read it off the individual item.
• Negative pressure: min. operating pressure of -0.9 bar and min. working pressure of -0.98 bar show which fittings may also run in vacuum lines.
• Operating temperature from -200 to 5 °C at the low end and 60 to 300 °C at the high end. That spread comes from the material mix, with PFA and stainless steel at the extremes and the plastic fittings in the middle.
