S2V series valve terminal, 8 stations 5/2-way, DeviceNet, G 1/8 top ports - E.MC

On machines with DeviceNet control, this terminal drives up to 8 double-acting cylinders or other actuators. The bus module sits directly on the valve block, power and bus connect via M12 plugs, and each valve draws 0.8 W.

Advantages

• Mounts on a DIN rail or with screws and runs on filtered air without a lubricator.
• DeviceNet right on the valve block: bus via M12 plug and M12 socket, 5-pin, A-coded, power via M12, 5-pin, A-coded. The bus module draws less than 50 mA.
• Diagnostics for short circuit, wire break, reverse polarity and under- or overvoltage, with a configurable safe output state on bus failure.
• G 1/8 outlets directly on the valves, easy to reach from above, 16 mm pitch.
• Reconfigurable: each station takes a single or double solenoid 5/2-way valve, a 5/3-way valve, a 2x 3/2-way valve or a blanking plate.

Applications

• Handling stations and fixtures with eight cylinders supplied from one point.
• Existing DeviceNet installations that are extended with additional pneumatic axes.
• Open DIN rail installation where hoses are plugged in and checked from above.
