S2V series valve terminal, 6 stations 5/2-way, PROFIBUS DP, G 1/8 top ports - E.MC

The S2V valve terminal with PROFIBUS DP interface groups 6 5/2-way valves on a common sub-base with 16 mm pitch. Supply and exhaust run centrally through G 1/4, working air leaves through 12 G 1/8 ports on top of the valves.

Advantages

• PROFIBUS DP right on the valve block: bus via M12, B-coded, power via M12, 5-pin, A-coded. The bus module draws less than 50 mA.
• Diagnostics for short circuit, wire break, reverse polarity and under- or overvoltage, with a configurable safe output state on bus failure.
• G 1/8 outlets directly on the valves, easy to reach from above, 16 mm pitch.
• Reconfigurable: each station takes a single or double solenoid 5/2-way valve, a 5/3-way valve, a 2x 3/2-way valve or a blanking plate.
• Low heat load in the cabinet at 0.8 W per solenoid, with an LED for every switching state.

Applications

• Compact assemblies such as grippers, clamping or lifting units with up to 6 double-acting cylinders.
• Existing PROFIBUS DP installations that are extended with additional pneumatic axes.
• Open DIN rail installation where hoses are plugged in and checked from above.
