Valve terminal 1 Series, 4x 5/2-way single solenoid, M7 side-ported, EtherNet/IP - E.MC

This terminal puts 4 valves straight onto a EtherNet/IP network, with no output cards and no multipole cable to the cabinet. The bus node sits on the terminal, the 8 M7 outlets are on the side of the sub-base.

Advantages

• Straight onto EtherNet/IP: bus connection 2x M12 socket, 4-pin, D-coded, power via M12, no output card needed in the controller.
• Narrow build: 11.5 mm pitch per valve station, response time 15 ms or less at 5 bar.
• Reconfigurable: any station can later take a valve with one or two coils, including 5/3-way or 2x 3/2-way functions.
• Long service life: at least 40 million cycles, aluminium body and spool, NBR seals.
• Diagnostics over the bus: short circuit, wire break, reverse polarity, under- and overvoltage are reported, and the output state on bus failure is configurable.

Applications

• Pick-and-place and handling units with small-bore cylinders, short-stroke cylinders and grippers on 4 to 6 mm tubing
• Decentralised valve terminals right at the machine, integrated into an existing EtherNet/IP network
• Installations with frequent valve changes, where the tubing should stay connected during a swap
